Margo Anne Fisher, 80, of Manchester, passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 23, 2016 at the Long View Healthcare Center in Manchester. Born September 17, 1935 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late James Lawrence Buckley and Margarette Juanita Scott Buckley. She was the wife of the late William "Bill" Fisher, who died March 19, 2015. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church and was retired from the Social Security Administration where she worked as a secretary. She loved to cook and crochet.
She was the loving mother of Rev. Msgr. Michael William Fisher, Kathleen Anne Mounsey and husband David, Patrick James Fisher and wife Clare, Teresa Margaret Gentile and husband Peter, and William Scott Fisher and fiancée Laurie; devoted sister of Mark Anthony and Patrick Michael Buckley; and cherished grandmother of 11.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Fisher's name to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 or to Long View Healthcare Center, Attention: Activities Department, P.O.
