Baltimore, MD – Margot Calaminus Giuffre, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, MD. She was born on January 24, 1936, in Langendiebach, Germany, to the late Dr. Wilhelm Calaminus and Emilia Traxel Calaminus. Margot was the cherished wife of the late William J. Giuffre.
A devoted member of the First English Lutheran Church of Baltimore, Margot served as a deacon for many years. She also held the role of former President of the Three Arts Club of Homeland. Passionate about travel and history. Margot formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who knew her. Her hobbies included painting, knitting, and gardening, and she was renowned for her delicious, fluffy cheesecakes. Margot lived a full, happy, and healthy life, surrounded by love.
She is survived by three sons and her beloved grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at First English Lutheran Church, located at 3807 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:00 .
