Marguerette Shipp, 69 years old of Reisterstown, died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born May 16, 1940 in Lynchburg, VA. she was the daughter of the late Dillard Jennings and Adalade Jefferson Jennings.
She was the loving wife of the late James F. Shipp who died in 2007.
Mrs. Shipp had worked as a waitress at the Suburban House in Pikesville for 25 years and at the China Pearl Restaurant. She was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Sandy Harris of Reisterstown, Tony Shipp of Hanover, PA., Jimmy Shipp of Reisterstown and Timmy Shipp of Woodbine, their spouses, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters, Blanche Kangalee and Katie Cousins, both of Reisterstown.
Friends may call on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Rev. David Bare officiating.
Interment in Lake View Memorial Park.
