Marian Frances Nash age 80 of Hanover formerly of Manchester died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Utz Terrace.
Born January 5, 1928 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Minnie Frances Burgoon Greifenstein. She was the wife of Jack Gilbert Nash her husband of 51 years.
Mrs. Nash was retired from the Baltimore County Public Schools where she was a school nurse at Chatsworth School in Reisterstown, MD. She was a graduate of Western Maryland Collage and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She had worked at Johns Hopkins and taught obstetrics.
She was a volunteer at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
She was a life member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester where she had taught Sunday School Mothers Class.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter and son in law Ellen Nash-Martin and George A. West of Manchester; her son Dr. Charles A. Nash of North Augusta, South Carolina; her granddaughter Mary Ellen F. Martin of Manchester.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Dr. Jarrett T. Wicklein officiating. Interment will be in Trinity U.C.C. Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
