Marie Louise Rhoten

Marie Louise Rhoten, 58 of Hampstead, MD. passed suddenly Friday April 28, 2017 at her home. Born Jan. 9, 1959 in Hanover, PA. she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther Sr. and Carmen Louise Alban. She was the wife of Michael David Rhoten.

Marie was a LPN for Golden Living Center in Westminster for 41 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She loved family gatherings, parties, flower gardening, shopping, taking trips to Ocean City and going to craft shows with family. She also was loving and caring to her elderly patients.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children; Daniel Rhoten of Hampstead, Dawn Wentz of Spring Grove, PA. and David Rhoten of Manchester, grandson; Bentley Michael Wentz, granddaughter; Kahli Wentz, sister; Susan Martin of Glen Rock, PA and step brother; Kenneth Alban of Manchester, MD.

She was predeceased by siblings; Gary Alban and Martin Alban, Jr. and step sister; Brenda Cullison.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD. on Monday May 1, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am. with her pastors Rev. John and Rev. Dr. Melissa Rudolph officiating. Interment will follow in Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
