Marjorie Genevieve Agnes Ruby

Marjorie Genevieve Agnes Ruby, 87, of Reisterstown died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Futurecare @ Cherrywood in Reisterstown.

Born February 13, 1927 in Owings Mills, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Beck and Annie Blanche Pobletts Beck. She was the wife of Joseph Earl "Bud" Ruby, who died in 2009.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Years ago, she was school bus attendant for the Baltimore County Public Schools. She was a member of the American Legion, Post 122 Auxiliary and the Westminster Moose. She enjoyed dancing and bowling.

Surviving are her sister Edna E. Crooks of Owings Mills, nieces, nephews as well as other family and friends.

She was predeceased by her siblings Viola Harnish, James Beck, Mildred Groomes, and Charles R. Beck.

The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday with her pastor the Rev. Timothy P. Feaser officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
