Marlene Margaret Mruck

Marlene Margaret Mruck, 86, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson. Born on October 19, 1932 in Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Hermann and Gretchen Stocker. She was the beloved wife of Armin Einhardt Mruck for 67 years.

Marlene worked for many years as an art teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools. She enjoyed travelling, and being out in nature, she was an excellent hostess and loved being with people. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Dieter Mruck and wife Sophia, Lauren Ensor and husband Lee, and Heidi Waltos and husband David, grandchildren: Miles and Isiah Mruck, Christine Kyle and husband Andrew, Leanne Thomas and husband Corey, and Sam and Jaime Waltos, great grandchildren: Reese, Grady, Jillian, and Adeline; sister in law: Lucille Stocker, and nephews: Ralph Stocker, Lee Stocker, and Chris Stocker.

She was predeceased by a brother: Ralph Stocker.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 11:30 am. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
