Martha Marie Blank

Martha Marie Blank, 94, of Westminster, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Carroll Lutheran Village.

Born in the family home on February 7, 1931 in Reisterstown Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Samuel Stricker and Nellie Grace Glotfelty. She was wife to Harold Eugene Blank for 50 years. He predeceased her on April 20, 2000.

Marie was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver and volunteer. She was active in her church and community of Owings Mills and Reisterstown. She served on Christian Education committees to ensure rigorous instruction in the Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church. She sang in the choir each week for worship. After moving to Carroll County, Marie volunteered in the gift shop at Carroll Hospital for 26 years.

Surviving her are sons Gary and his wife Deborah, Glenn and his wife Gwen, Greg and his wife Debbie, Grant and his wife Beth, daughter Connie and her husband Russ; grandchildren Jason (Jeanine) and Justin (Amanda) Blank, Erin (Richard) Smart, Shayna Blank; great grandchildren Cori and Elliot Blank, Asher and Aspen Smart, and sister Helen and her husband Carroll Grimes. Marie was preceded in death by brothers Bill and Paul Stricker.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, January 7, 2025, in Krug Chapel, Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle Westminster, MD 21158. A time for visitation will follow immediately after the service.
