Martha Elizabeth Myers age 86 of Manchester, MD died Sunday June 8, 2014 at her son and daughter in law's home.
Born April 2, 1928 in Manchester, MD she was the daughter of the late Emory E. and Maggie E. Lambert Hossler. She was the wife of the late Russell Warfield Myers who died in 2007.
Years ago she worked at Carr's Dept. Store, Miller's, William F. Myers and Sons Grocery and Feesers Market. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed flowers and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her children: Scott Michael Myers and wife Barbara of Hampstead and Trudy Ann Myers Drechsler of Westminster and grandchildren: Chad Adam and Stacy Amanda Myers both of Hampstead.
She was predeceased by brothers: William, Earl and Charles Hossler.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Wednesday at 11:00am. with the Rev. George Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00- 8:00pm. and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral chapel.
