Martha Knight Yingling

Martha Knight Yingling, age 102, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on October 9, 2026. She was born on November 16, 1923, in Reisterstown, to Charles and Martha Knight.

She retired from Random House in 1985 and was a lifelong member of the Reisterstown Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Martha is survived by her daughter: Beverly Reisberg Barnhart (Steve) grandchildren: Karen Bellew (Rob), Kenneth Barnhart (Robin), 7 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Jennifer Ebert. She was also predeceased by her husbands: Leonard Reisberg, Harry Linton, and Edward Yingling, as well as her siblings (6 brothers and 5 sisters).

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 15, from 6-8 pm, and on Friday, October 16, from 10-11 am, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Deer Park Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
