Marvin Ellis Eddy age 61 of Westminster, MD. died suddenly Sunday July 20,2008 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born April 21,1947 in Glen Burnie, MD. he was the son of the late Marvin Roy and Inez Marie Hupp Eddy. He was the husband of Sandra Lynn Sheckels Eddy for over 40 years.
He was a senior vehicle mechanic for Federal Express. He had been a member of the Westminster Flying Club where he flew model airplanes. He had also had been a mechanic at Dorsey Raceway. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and boating.
Surviving in addition to his wife are siblings: Michael Eddy and Betty Eddy both of Florida, Steven Mark Eddy of Carroll County and David Eddy of Glen Burnie, MD.
Funeral services willbe held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.on Thursday July 24, 2008 at 9:00 am. with the Rev. Gary Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9pm. and on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
