Mary N. Brilhart, 98, of Hanover, PA formerly of Manchester died, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA.
Born June 16, 1913 in Lineboro, she was the daughter of the late J. Samuel and Ellen Wentz Wertz . She was the wife of the late C. Thomas Brilhart.
Years ago, she worked at North Carroll School in the cafeteria. She had also worked at the Lineboro Post Office and Baugher's Restaurant. She was a charter member of the North Carroll Senior Center and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD. She enjoyed square dancing, card clubs, gardening, painting, quilting, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Merl and Evonne Brilhart of Hanover, PA and Robert and Louise Brilhart of Hanover, PA; her grandchildren and spouses Todd and Lisa Brilhart, Ted and Beverly Brilhart, Dirk and Christine Brilhart, Lisa and Matthew Cleveland, and Jill Brilhart; and her 7 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings Merl Wertz, Grace Martin, Jessie Wertz, Ellen McGrew, and Carrie Elseroad.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday.
Interment will be in St. David's Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
