Mary Louise Calp age 85 of Hampstead, MD. died Friday June 21, 2013 at the Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD.
Born Oct. 30, 1927 in Snydersburg, MD. she was the daughter of the late Irvin George and Jenny Mildred Allender Rill.
She was the wife of 67 years to Charles Calvin Calp.
Years ago she worked at the Hampstead Sewing Factory, Bendix Corp. and had been an assembly worker at Black & Decker. She was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Upperco, MD. She also enjoyed playing bingo and penny slots.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Christy McGarity of Catonsville, MD., Charlie Calp, Jr., Cass Calp and wife Traci, Craig Calp and girlfriend Cindy Kemp and Chad Calp all of Hampstead, MD. Sisters: Helen Gettle and Betty Thompson both of Hampstead, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings: Elsie Hoover and Charles Rill.
Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 4618 Black Rock Rd. Upperco, MD. 21155 on Wednesday at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. or on Wednesday from 10:00am. until 11:00am. at the church.
