Mary Hann Danner, 89, of Mt. Airy formerly of Manchester died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy.
She was born in Manchester on October 18, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Allen L. Hann and Estella Grace Fridinger Hann. She was the wife the late Everett Leon Danner, her husband of 31 years, who passed away in 1991.
She was a seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester, National AARP, and the North Carroll Seniors Ladies Auxiliary for 10 years. She was a graduate of Manchester High School, class of 1936.
Surviving her is her son Gary L. Farver of Kenosha, WI, her sisters Grace Garrett and Frances Steger, both of Manchester, her brother Donald E. Hann of Westminster, and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with the Revs. Matthew and Norma Schenning of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
