Mary Virginia "Ginger" Zito

Mary Virginia "Ginger" Zito, 73, of Westminster passed away, Wednesday February 24, 2016 at her home surrounded by members of her family. Born July 13, 1942 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Roy M. and Ione Parrish Kyle. She was the wife of Samuel Joseph Zito, Jr. She was retired from Verizon as an outside locator and recently was a bus driver for Catholic Charities- Head Start. She enjoyed playing bingo and going on cruises with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses Kim McAllister and John of Manchester, Sam J. Zito, III and Amanda of New Jersey, Jennie Sheridan and Jerry of New York and Michael S. Zito and Keith Govert of New Jersey; her siblings Roy M. Kyle, Jr. of Panama and Peggy Wheeler of Westminster; her 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Richard Parrish, Ronald and Wesley Lynn Kyle.
The family will receive friends on Sunday Feb. 28, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
