Mary Elizabeth Glendenning

Mary Elizabeth Glendenning, 81, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Born on April 27, 1942, in Winchester, VA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mittie McGehee Miller. She was the beloved wife of the late Terry Bryan Glendenning, Sr., who passed away in 2009.

Mary was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed roller-skating at the Sportsman's Hall years ago, going to the casino, and playing Bingo at the South Carroll Senior Center. Mary also enjoyed going on trips with her family and church, and she even traveled to Europe twice.

Surviving her are sons: Terry Glendenning, Jr., and wife Julia, Richard Glendenning and partner Patricia Morgan, and Steven Glendenning, grandchildren: Kerry, Erika, Erin, Kaitlyn, Gavin, and Marell, great-grandchildren: Daymien, Olivia, Liliana, and Shane, and a sister: Jo Ann Elwood and husband Joe.

She was predeceased by her grandson: Kevin Glendenning, and sister: Barbara Krout.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 29, from 6-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30, at 9 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD 21136. The funeral service will be livestreamed through Trinity Lutheran Church's Facebook page.

Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
