Mary Dolores Liberto

Mary Dolores Liberto, 82, of Reisterstown, MD, passed peacefully Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Forest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catonsville. Born January 15, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the Late William G. and Evelyn Leonard-Severe. She was the wife of the late James J. Liberto.
She retired from the Social Security Administration after 30 stellar years of service. After her retirement, she enjoyed time spent in Florida with family and friends.
She is survived by her children: W. Leonard Athas and his wife Debbie, Diane Shea, Laurie Lindner and her husband John, Lisa Dunay and her husband Mike, and her grandchildren: Kyle and David Lindner.
She was pre-deceased by her two brothers Clyde F. Leonard and J. Richard Severe.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, from 3-5 and 7-9pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 9, at 1pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD, 21071. Interment is in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
