Mary Louise Miller, 94 years old of Upperco, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her son's home in Stow, Ohio.
Born January 20, 1919 in Maple Grove, Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Bortner and Minerva Dubs Bortner.
She was the wife for 61 years of John Frank Miller who died in 2004.
She was a private duty Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Black & Decker. She was a member of the Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse Association since 1954 and was President of the Association for many years. She was also a member of the National Licensed Practical Nurse Association .
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John W. and Reita Miller of Stow, OH., daughter Elaine Louise Miller of Dorchester, MA., grandson Johnny, nieces Helen Cross, Arlene Sterner, Bonnie Estes and Diane Simmons.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Beulah Wolfgang, Jenny Webster and Miles Bortner.
Friends may call on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
Services Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rt. 30 and Dover Rd. Upperco, MD 21155. Rev. Melvina Stricklin officiating.
Interment in the Church Cemetery.
