Maryanna Trotta

Maryanna Trotta, 83, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead, MD. Born on September 24, 1937, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Santucci Leon. She was the beloved wife of the late James Anthony Trotta, who passed away in 2002.

Years ago, Maryanna worked as a secretary for a manufacturing company.

Surviving her is a daughter: Deborah Ruby of Taneytown, MD, a grandson: Dakota Ruby of Taneytown, MD, and a sister: Gloria Merzbacher of Essex, MD.

She was predeceased by siblings: Albert and Robert Leon, Regina M. Linder, Helen Curry, and Filomena LaSorte.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 2, from 9 – 10:30 am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a Prayer Service will begin at 10:30 am, with Father Michael Roach officiating.

Interment to follow in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
