Mathilde Scheurer Tolbert, 90 years old, of Reisterstown, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Clem and Doll Assisted Living in Randallstown.
Born November 14, 1919 in Oberhausen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Philipp and Elisabeth Hambsch Scheurer.
She was the wife of the late John Thomas Tolbert who died in 1992.
She was a nursing assistant at Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore for 25 years , retiring in December 1984
She is survived by her children: Rita Marie Tolbert of Reisterstown, Norman Schmidt of Greencastle, PA. and Anita McCusker of Westminster. Also survived by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Friends may call on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
