Maurice Wilson Wentz, Jr. age 75 of Hanover, PA, formerly of Manchester, MD, died Saturday Feb. 14, 2015 at his home.
Born July 20, 1939 in Melrose, MD he was the son of the late Maurice W. Wentz, Sr. and the late Pauline Grace Fuhrman Wentz. He was the husband of Linda Lou Martin Wentz his wife of 22 years.
He had worked for Black & Decker as a manager and most recently worked for AAI Corp. He was an active member of Manchester Baptist Church, a caretaker for the church cemetery and an U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Keith Wentz and friend Cynthia Grimes of Westminster, MD and Karen Davidson and husband Tom of Millers, MD, stepchildren, Benjamin Adams and wife Jessie of Hanover, PA and Ashley Muller and husband Carl of Springfield, Nebraska. He was also survived by a sister, Jean Cressy of Fryburg, Maine, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
A memorial service will be held at Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Church Rd., Manchester, MD 21102 on Wednesday Feb. 18, 2015 at 6:00pm. with his pastor Rev. David Scafide officiating.
Interment will be private.
