Melvin Block

Melvin Block, 88, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at his home.  Born on April 27, 2936, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Morris Block and Ada Levinson Block.

Melvin was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Years ago, he was a retired lieutenant for Baltimore City Police.

Surviving him are children: Michael Block of Hampstead, MD, Carolyn Block Wagner of Belair, MD, grandchildren: Matthew and Jennifer Block, and former spouse: Susan Block.

A private interment will take place in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.

Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Manchester, MD.
