Melvin Robertson Bush, age 70, of Hampstead, MD. died Thursday Oct. 3, 2013 at his home.
Born August 3, 1943 in Baltimore City, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Blair and Edith Robertson Bush.
He was the husband of 36 years to Mary Robertson Bush.
Years ago he was an electrician for Synodinos and Associates, Inc. and a member of IBEW Local 24. He served in the Maryland National Guard.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Molly Sacco and husband Chris of Hampstead, MD, and Matt Robertson Bush and wife Sara Kopp Bush of Hanover, PA, grandchildren: Gavin Bush and Mia, Anita and Dominick Sacco. and a brother: David Bush of Illinois.
A memorial service will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Md. on Wednesday Oct. 9, 2013 at 11:00am. with Pastor Bob Gray officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
If desired donations may be made to Carroll Hospice, Inc. 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD. 21157.
Arrangements and cremation are by the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. Manchester, MD.
