Michael Davis Gleason, Jr.

Michael Davis Gleason, Jr., age 76, of Hampstead, passed, Monday July 4, 2016 at his home. Born August 5, 1939 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Michael Davis Gleason, Sr. and Rosalie Phares Gleason. He was the husband of Ida Grace Mize Gleason. He was a self-employed painter. Surviving in addition to his wife is his son Michael D. Gleason, III of Manchester; his grandchildren Shannon Fritzges, Jennifer Bray, and Heather Gleason; and his great grandchildren Tyler, Justin, Carter, Brinley, Bristyn and Jameson. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Duane Gleason. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg (21048).
