Michael F. Kappes

Michael F. Kappes, 59, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. He is the husband of 34 years to Pam Fauth Kappes. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 1, 1957, he was the son of the late E. Karl and Anna Bem Kappes.

Michael was an auto mechanic who enjoyed golfing with his wife Pam, and many friends in his spare time. An avid sports fan, he loved his 3 dogs, spending time with family and working on his 'honey do' list.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his sister: Susan Hough and husband Bob, sister- in- law: Darlene Fauth, brother-in-law Bunky Moran, sister-in-law Joanne Parr and husband Bud. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother: Karl Kappes.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25, from 1-5 pm at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 where a memorial service will be held at 2 pm.

Interment is private.
