Michael David Rhoten

Michael David Rhoten, 62 of Hampstead, MD, passed suddenly Monday April 19, 2021 at his home. Born March 26, 1959 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Peggy Tipton Coghill of Hanover, PA and the late Kenneth Elsworth Rhoten. He was the husband of the late Marie Louise Alban Rhoten and is the fiancée of Dee Karr.

Mike was a general manager for Erosion Control in Finksburg, MD. He was a firm believer in God and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hampstead, MD. He was a car enthusiast.

Surviving in addition to his mother and fiancée are children; David Rhoten of Manchester, MD, Dawn Wentz of Spring Grove, PA and Daniel Rhoten of Littlestown, PA, grandchildren; Kahli, Bentley, Carter and Leland. He is also survived by siblings; John and Steve Rhoten both of Manchester, MD, Jeff Rhoten of Deming, New Mexico and Susan Walbeck of Glenville, PA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Grace U.M. Church Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
