Michael George Rodney, 61 years old of Windsor Mill, died suddenly Friday, November 23, 2012 at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown.
Born September 27, 1951 in Chestertown, MD he was the son of the late James Edward Rodney, Sr. and Hildagard Liebhardt Rodney.
He was the husband for 33 years of Susanna Windsor Rodney.
He served honorably with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for various trucking companies over the years. He loved being out on his 16 foot Carolina Skiff crabbing and steaming crabs.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Katherine Elizabeth "Katie" Rodney, brother's James E. Rodney, Jr., David A. Rodney and Raymond C. Rodney, sister Anne C. Paradise, 2 nieces and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by a brother Richard E. Rodney.
A Memorial gathering will be held Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where Prayers will begin at 11:00AM. Rev. Fr. Andrew S. Mohl officiating. Interment Private. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com
