Mildred "Polly" Cullison

Mildred "Polly" Cullison, 101, of Hanover, Pa. formerly of Manchester, MD passed peacefully Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, PA. Born May 4, 1915 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Cora Nickles Harrow. She was the wife of the late George R. Cullison who died in 2003.

Years ago, she worked for the State of Maryland and Rosewood State Hospital. Years ago, she also worked for Black & Decker in Hampstead. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Manchester and a life member of Lebanon Chapter 108, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son; Robert Grant Cullison and wife Peggy of New Oxford, PA., daughter in law; Shirley Cullison of Westminster, MD. and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son; George Richard Cullison.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 10 - 11:00am. with a funeral service at 11:00am. The Pastor Suzanne Adele Schmidt will officiate. Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
