Mildred W. Duckwall, 97, of Westminster died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster.
Born Nov. 24, 1910, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Burton Wright and Leah K. Norfolk Wright. She was the wife of Reed Duckwall, who died in 1989.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Carol D. and C. Robert Nicoll of Westminster; a sister, Ruth Wallace of California; a niece, Jean Fowler of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. Jimmie L. Schwartz officiating. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Fund Development, c/o Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158.
