Mildred Virginia Leedy

Mildred Virginia Leedy "Millie", age 75, of New Oxford, PA passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017.  Born January 13, 1942, in Hanover, PA she was the daughter of the late Frieda M. Garrett Sandruck and was raised by the late Ross F. Sandruck.

Millie graduated from North Carroll High School in 1960, attended a medical secretarial school in Hagerstown, MD and worked at Dutterer's Florist in Westminster, MD. Millie always enjoyed swimming, playing bingo, Scrabble and playing cards with her friends Twila and Sandy.

She is survived by her brother Cloyd K. Leedy, Jr. and wife Barbara F. Leedy; and her sister Jeanne M. Sandruck-Fahey and husband Jed W. Fahey; nephew Blake K. Leedy and his wife Jennifer P. Leedy and nephew Justin R. Fahey and his wife Katharine L. Perez; great-nephew Parker J. Leedy and great-niece Ada P. Fahey.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester, MD.
