On May 23, 2009 Mildred Lipinski (formerly Dengler), 84 years of age, passed away in New Brunswick, NJ due to complications from dementia.

Mildred, formerly of Reisterstown, was the loving wife of Robert B. Lipinski, a WWII veteran who died in 2004.

She dedicated her life to serving her family, including her four sons, Robert Jr. of Denmark, Western Australia and his wife Marijke and their son Dylan, daughter Bree, their spouses, and their children; Phillip of Baltimore; Barry of Somerset, NJ and his wife Anna and their sons Joe and Will; and Eric of Reisterstown and his wife Tasha and their sons Adam and Ridgely. One of four Dengler daughters, including Catherine Dengler and Julia Narango, both deceased, Mildred is survived by Regina Dengler, OSF.

Mil worked 22 years for Glen L. Martin (later Martin Marietta) as an executive secretary to engineers serving the Apollo and Gemini space programs.

She was born in Baltimore on February 9, 1925, eight days after her future husband Bob, whom she met at a USO dance in Baltimore during WWII.

Mil graduated from Seton High School in Baltimore. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and going to the shore with her family and finding fossil sharks' teeth.

She was a Roman Catholic celebrant of Sacred Heart of Glyndon Parish for 46 years.

Friends may call at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 8:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.

Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.

Memorial contribution may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Maryland Chapter, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
