Millie G. Pettway, 61 years old of Reisterstown, died Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born March 26, 1948 in Blunts Creek, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Eva Dell Moore Jenkins and the late Mortimer Jenkins.
She was the wife of Attry Pettway, Sr.
Mrs. Pettway was a LPN, mostly as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation of Owings Mills. She enjoyed her time with the congregation and studying her bible. She loved to communicate with family and friends by writing and especially talking on the telephone.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her 2 daughters, Rosalind Smith of Baltimore and Rabiah Smith of Tampa, FL., step-daughter Brenda Lee Sullivan, step-sons Fred, David and Don Pettway and Attry Pettway, Jr.
Sister of Eva Williams, Martin Jenkins and Alvania Scott.
Also survived by 26 step- grandchildren, 16 step- great grandchildren and numerous cousins, neices and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 901 Academy Ave. Owings Mills, 21117 Interment in King Memorial Park.
The family is requesting memorial donations to: American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, 800 Wyman Park Dr. Suite 110, Baltimore, MD 21211
