Milton Menaris Herman

Milton Menaris Herman, 88, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  Born on September 19, 1935, in Parkton, MD, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lavina Herman.  He was the beloved husband of 70 years to Nancy Louise Daugherty Herman.

Milton worked as a supervisor for the Town of Manchester for many years.  He attended Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro. He enjoyed old car shows and racing. He also liked going camping, traveling, and eating crabs with his family.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are sons: Larry Herman and friend Marie, Terry Herman and wife Loveric, and Garry Herman and wife Shelly, all of Manchester, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacqueline Lyles, Rachael Herman, Ryan Herman, great-grandchildren: Ty and Brooklyn, and sister-in-law: Vesta Herman.

Milton was predeceased by his grandson: Bradley Herman, and brothers: Richard Lee Herman and Gilbert Herman.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 8, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9, at 10, at Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 S Church St, Lineboro, MD 21102, with Pastor Rodney Gross officiating.

Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
