Monica J. Rienhimer

Monica J. Rienhimer, 87, formerly of Nuangola, PA and Westminster, MD,  passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at BridgingLife Hospice (Dove House) in Westminster, MD.  She had been a long-term resident at Atlee Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she was lovingly cared for and had many friends.

Born on June 4, 1936, in Nanticoke, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine Oshinski, and was one of 5 siblings: Rita, Robert, Stanley, and Thomas Oshinski. She was predeceased by her husband Lester R. Rienhimer Sr in 1990.

In her prime, Monica worked for the RCA Corporation as an assembly tester of electronic semi-conductor chips.  She was very proud of gaining her GED while working and raising her family.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, painting, and playing bingo.  She was the backbone of her family and devoted to her friends.  Monica's pride and joy was her granddaughter Jamie, whom she loved so very much.

Surviving her are son Lester R. Rienhimer and wife Deborah of Milton, DE, and granddaughter, Jamie Rienhimer.

Funeral services and interment are private.
