Myra Rose Greenslet, 83 years old of Reisterstown, MD. died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Morningside House in Parkville.
Born January 16, 1930 in Sparland, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late A. Leslie Watkins and Rose Frances Ely Watkins.
She was the wife for 55 years of Phil Wood Greenslet.
She served honorably with the U.S. Army from January 1955 to December 1957. While serving in Germany, she met her future husband Phil Wood Greenslet. She worked for the State of Maryland as an administrative specialist.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Jo Jones and Jane Greenslet, two sons: Kenneth and John Greenslet, 1 grandson: Thomas Greenslet and siblings: Georga Mellen, Martha Palmer and Joel Watkins.
Friends may call on Monday, May 6th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 7th, 10:00 AM from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, 21071. Rev. Msgr. Lloyd E. Aiken officiating.
Interment with military honors in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
