Nadine Mary Berwager, 78, of Manchester died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born April 19, 1934 in Bonneville, PA, she was daughter of the late Raymond N. Shorb and Ruth Sterner Shorb. She was the wife of Edward Leon Berwager, her husband of 61 years.
She was the manager for the Buddy Dale Hat Store, worked as a newspaper delivery person and as a bus driver for the Hereford High School and North Carroll High School.
She enjoyed ceramics and craft shows all over Maryland and the surrounding states, as well as, flea markets and steams shows.
In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, cooking, and making fudge.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Edward E. Berwager of Las Vegas, NV., Bonnie Lee Harpine of Red Lion, PA, Daniel Leon Berwager of Hampstead MD.; her sister Betty Berwager of Hanover, PA; her 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Scott Allen Berwager, her great grandson Jacob Daniel, and her brother Ralph Shorb.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. Wednesday until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with The Rev. Matthew s. Schenning officiating.
A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester, MD.
