Nancy Gene Begley

Nancy Gene Begley, 76, of Westminster died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Dove House in Westminster.

Born November 28, 1937 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Algernon S. Gardiner, Jr. and Martha Gene Whiteside Gardiner.

She was a graduate of Randolph Macon College in Virginia. She was an avid horse rider and enjoyed sports and watching the Washington Redskins. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her grandsons play sports.

Surviving is her daughter Barbara Gene Crago of Westminster; her grandchildren Alex and Nick Crago both of Westminster; her son-in-law Max Crago of Hampstead; and her brother Algernon Garrett Gardiner of Gaithersburg.

She was predeceased by her sister Suzanne Mohler Gardiner.

A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday April 12, 2014 at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dove, House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
