Nancy Anne Bleakley Korman, 88, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at her home. Born on April 11, 1936, in Rockdale, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert Bleakley and Helen G. Jones Bleakley. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert George Korman, Sr., who passed away in 2002.
Nancy worked as a teacher many years ago. She lived and raised her children in the family home on Lawndale Road. She was a past leader of the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was a member of Emory United Methodist Church of Upperco. She enjoyed going on walks and camping. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving her are children: Robert George Korman, Jr., Debra Anne Hall and husband Leslie, Lisa Anne Brown and husband Sheldon, Thomas Edward Korman, Jack Alan Korman and wife Karen, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and sister: Betty Riddick.
Nancy was predeceased by her siblings: Robert J. Bleakley, Marshal Bleakley, Gertrude Rich, and Mary Jean Wilhelm.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 21, from 4-7 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD, where a prayer service will be held at 6 pm.
Interment is private.
