Nancy Jane David, 60, of Westminster, died peacefully Thursday Dec. 12, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born July 6, 1953 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of Helen LaRue Alban Eppley of Manchester, and the late Kenneth LeRoy Eppley.
She was a 1971 graduate of North Carroll High School. She was employed by the Carroll County Government for 25 years. Nancy enjoyed her position with The Office of Administrative Hearings.
She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she enjoyed attending Saturday evening services. Nancy enjoyed trips to casinos, bingo, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother are twin sons, Toby David of Westminster, and Timothy David of Silver Spring; step daughters, Ariana Williams of Silver Spring, and Nereida David of New Freedom, PA; a grandson, Trent David of Westminster; and her siblings, Judy Bixler of Hanover, PA., Cindy Ganjon and husband Erich of Westminster, Gary Eppley of Manchester, and Randy Eppley and wife Karen of Georgia, VT.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3184 Church Street, Manchester with the Revs. Matthew S. and Norma L. Schenning officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester.
