Nancy Carlein Harris

Nancy Calein Harris, 85 of Hanover, PA., passed peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her home. Born Oct. 6, 1932 in Carroll County, MD., she was the daughter of the late Milton Wilbur and Mary Susan Cook. She was the wife of the late Norman Glenn Harris.

Carlein was a Clerk for the Reisterstown Library for 23 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading.

She is survived by children: Cheryl Lynn Savage, Bradley Alan Harris and wife Peggy, Norman Glenn Harris II and wife Mary Louise and James Patrick Harris; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and sister; Mildred Jean Means.

Carlein was predeceased by her siblings; Katheryn Irene Crum, Marianna Cooney and Doris Levinia Fritz.

The family will receive visitors on Monday July 2, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30pm. Interment to follow in St. Benjamin's Cemetery, Westminster, MD.
