Nancy B. Hull (née Clark, Patton), age 92, of Manchester, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2026, surrounded by a family who loved her deeply.

She was born October 3, 1933, in Max Meadows, Virginia, to the late Julia Lucille Cannady (née Richardson, Clark) and Peyton Troy Clark. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Ann Akers.

Nancy was the devoted wife of 42 years to Raymond C. Hull. She is survived by her three children: Rev. James D. Patton and wife Rev. Patricia Patton of Hillsboro, Texas; Patricia Livelsberger and husband Patrick of Westminster, Maryland; and Deborah Patton-Imbach and wife D.J. Athman of Largo, Florida; and by three siblings: Troy Clark of Maryland, Jon Clark of Arizona, and Pat Peery and husband Steve of North Carolina.

She was lovingly known to her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren as “Happy Nancy,” “Gan Goo,” “Granny,” “Bamma,” and Grandma, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Her grandchildren are Celeste Kelsh (CA); Kyle Patton and wife Mikayla (TX); Ruth Patton (TX); James Patton and wife Allison (CA); Robert Patton and wife Ashley (TX); Tyson Livelsberger and wife Julie (PA); Spencer Imbach (MD); and Luci Imbach and husband Baird Parent (MA). She was preceded in death by grandsons John Vaughn, Jr. “JJ” (MD) and Ethan Patton (TX).

Nancy dedicated 34 years to Black & Decker in Hampstead, Maryland, and found great joy in operating Hull’s Tax Service, her personal business for 44 years.

She loved feeding the wild birds and deer at the family homestead and playing Bingo with friends at her Manchester Manor community.

Our Mom taught us that real strength doesn’t always look fierce, and she showed us how to face life with courage and kindness. We will all miss her dearly, but we will carry forward the quiet light she brought to this world.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, for the viewing on Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 5-7 pm. All are invited to a short service on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to your favorite charity and remember — as Nancy would say — “always be kind.
