Nancy Foster Martens, 78, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2016 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born on February 5, 1938 in Bellows Falls, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Eleanor Bradley Foster. She was the wife of Carl Martens.
She was a graduate of Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and was a nurse by profession. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reisterstown, MD.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Elizabeth H. Martens and husband Anthony D'Aulerio, Carole Martens, and John Foster Martens and his wife Gail, two grandchildren: Julia and James Martens, and sister: Patricia Concannon.
The family will receive friends at 3-5pm on Thursday, October 27, at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Friday, October 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD. Interment is private.
