Nancy Lee Rohrback, 77, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on September 15, 2018, at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD. Born on August 11, 1941, in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley and Martha Elizabeth Lohmeyer Smith. She was the loving wife of George Howard Rohrback.
Years ago, Nancy worked at Black and Decker and Manchester Sewing Factories, and last worked as a seamstress for English American. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Susan Buck and husband Michael of Hanover, PA, Robert James Yingling of Manchester, MD, and Dale Leroy Yingling of Hampstead, MD, grandchildren: Emily, Amanda, Sarah, Ashlee, Michael, Christine, and Amber, 11 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Howard Smith of Colorado and Catherine Rupp of Florida.
She was predeceased by siblings: Kenny Smith, Helen Parks, Betty Dell, Nelson Smith and Ruth Ann Steger.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 19, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, and on Thursday, September 20 from 3-4 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3184 Church Street, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 4 pm, with her pastor, Rev. Charles Marshall, officiating.
Interment is private.
