Nancy Lee Sekinger

Nancy Lee Sekinger, 79, of Linthicum Heights, MD, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Carroll Hospice in Westminster, MD. Born on April 9, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hilda Johnson Shaffer. She was the beloved wife of Edgar Milton Sekinger.

Fondly known as "Gobble" to all, her greatest blessing and devotion was to her family. She loved fiercely and put her family's needs above her own. She was truly a gift from God. She will be missed beyond measure.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children: April Stanson and husband Rick, and Scott Sekinger, grandchildren: Kristina McNamara and husband George, and Ricky Stanson, great grandchildren: Parker, and Nash, and siblings: Skip Shaffer, Ronnie Shaffer, Janet Jackson, Linda Ridenour, and Kenny Shaffer.

She was predeceased by a sister: Doris Shaffer.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 10, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, at 2 pm at St. David's Lutheran Church, 1032 Musselman Road, Hanover, PA 17331.

Interment is private.
