Nelson Donald "Bud" Widerman, 84, of Reisterstown died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Futurecare Cherrywood in Reisterstown.
Born March 13, 1930 in Hebbville, he was the son of the late Raymond Edgar Widerman and Mary Ellen Widerman. He was the husband of Mary W. Griffin Widerman, his wife of 59 years.
He was in the Army National Guard and spent 8 years at Headquarters 2/2-110FA.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Donald Shane "Buddy" Widerman and wife Judy Carol; and Raymond Allen Widerman and wife Neris G. all of Reisterstown; his grandchildren Jamie, Jodie, and Nadia Widerman; and twin great-grandsons Benjamin and Declan.
He was predeceased by his siblings Kenneth and Wayne Widerman, and Nancy Tillman.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held Noon Thursday, August 14.
Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville.
