Norman Edward Bolander, Jr. age 78 of Manchester, formerly of Pasadena, died suddenly Saturday, June 18, 2011 at his home.
Born June 17, 1933 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Norman Edward and Jennifer Viola Fowler Bolander, Sr. He was the husband of 48 years to Margo Adair Wolfe Bolander.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Local 37 Engineers. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and an avid coin collector.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Walter Bolander II and wife Sue of Manchester, Norman E. Bolander III of Glen Burnie, and April Teal and husband Scott of the Eastern Shore of MD; his brother David Bolander of the Eastern Shore of MD; his sister Shirley Hendricks of Kentucky; and his grandchildren Tony, Jennifer, Amanda, Norman IV, Scott and Andrew.
A private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory & Chapel in Manchester.
Arrangements are by the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Manchester.
