Norman Michael Prohinsky, 82, passed away Sunday November 2, 2008, at his daughter's home in North Carolina.
Norm was a native of Pittsburg and a long time resident of Reisterstown Maryland where he retired from the B&O Railroad after 42 years of service.
A beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Prohinsky (nee Dailey), he is survived by his daughters Joan Rill and Barbara Benson, their husband's Rick and Todd respectively.
Norman's greatest pleasures in life were his family, visits to Florida, and growing his orchids.
Norm was a Grandfather to Gerald K. Gibson, Jr., Kevin Richard Rill, (wife Katherine) and Keith Lee Rill (wife Rebecca), a Great Grandfather to Julia, Jacob, Benjamin and Olivia Rill, and a Brother to Helen Rump and John Price (wife Gerry).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon at 10:00 AM. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
