Norman Paul Sparks age 81 of Parkville, MD. died Friday March 6,2009 at the Oak Crest Village in Parkville, MD.
Born March 9,1927 in Baltimore, MD. he was the son of the late Raymond J. Sparks, Sr. and Frances Anna Bunn Sparks. He was the husband of Marguerite Elizabeth Cimino Sparks.
He was a retired supervisor for Verizon Telephone. He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters and son in laws: Sharon and Michael Pitcher of Reisterstown, MD., Debbie and Tony Viscardi of Catonsville, MD. and Terry and Allan Peck of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brother: Thomas Sparks of Florida. Grandchildren: Amy Wood, Gabrielle and Amanda Peck.
He was predeceased by sisters: Doris Rich, Delores Dietz and Patricia Sparks, and a brother: Raymond Sparks, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Oak Crest Chapel, 8800 Walther Blvd. Parkville, MD. on Wednesday March 11,2009 at 10:30am. A gathering will be held on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at the chapel. Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD. on Thursday at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak Crest Catholic Community, 8820 Walther Blvd., Parkville, MD. 21234
