Nova June Krolicki

Nova June Krolicki, 90, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Cobbdale Assisted Living in Fairfax, VA.  Born on October 28, 1933, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Clive Brant and Grace Gladys O'Neil Brant.  She was the beloved wife of Dale David Krolicki, who passed away in 2007.

Nova was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Cumberland, MD, as well as The Church of the Open Door in Westminster.  She was an avid gardener, she loved flowers, arranging, and planting.  Birds and wildlife were welcome and loved in her yard. She liked antiquing and going to yard sales and tea rooms with her friends.  She was devoted to her bible studies, and volunteering with children's ministries.  She was a member of the "Super 60's" church choir group and she also supported many local charities, including NESAP.  Nova loved spending time with her family; her sons and beloved grandchildren were her world. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are sons: Duane David Krolicki and wife Janet of Westminster, MD, and Darryl David Krolicki and wife Joyce of Chantilly, VA, grandchildren: Derek and wife Chasity, John and wife Rebecca, Mary, Kyle, and great-granddaughter: Avalynn. She is also survived by sister-in-law: Reiko Brant, niece: Holly Marsh, and cousin: Cathy Kababick.

Nova was predeceased by her siblings: William Wayne Brant, Lucille Brant, and Adene Stoops.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 13 from 2-4:30 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held at 4:30 pm.

Interment is private.
