Ollie Juanita Haga, 93, of Sykesville, formerly of Glyndon, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Brinton Woods Health Care Center in Sykesville.
Born Dec. 19, 1918, in Marion, Va., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Brown Odham and Dottie Ellen Vipperman Odham. She was the wife of the George Vance Haga, her husband of 37 years, who died in 1975.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing, doing ceramics, and spending time with her family.
She was a sister of a very large family, which she helped raise having six sisters and seven brothers.
Surviving are sons Pem Haga and wife Lib, of Sykesville, Donald Haga and wife Marie, Michael Haga and wife Susan, and Bill Haga and wife Vicky, all of Finksburg; a stepson, Hurley Haga, of Spokane, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her a stepson, George Junior Haga; and eight siblings.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
